A Maintenance Audit represents the first and fundamental stage for the definition of a maintenance management improvement project. The comparison of the performance of the maintenance management system with the Current Best Practice of reference, allows to find the different ways of improvement.
Thanks to the collaboration with IDCON Inc. ISE uses a system of audit e benchmarking developed through the experience gained by over 300 companies all around the world.
During the maintenance audit, an objective score is assigned to each category analyzed so to be able to compare the evaluations given with other plants and companies owned by the same group, with the following goal:
- Record all the maintenance improvement strategies
- Analyze the actual state of the organization and point out how it could improve
- Develop a maintenance implementation plan for improvement actions
- Analyze and measure the progress made during the implementation of the improvement plan
Utilizing the information acquired during the Reliability Assessment, ISE supports the maintenance management in defining a strategy and in the development of improvement plans that aim to reduce maintenance costs and increase reliability.
